| Fred Mollin's Forever Knight Soundtrack is now available on CD and cassette from GNP/Crescendo Records, or from your local music store. On this page, you will find short sound samples from all 22 tracks of the soundtrack, as well as a few photos. Thanks to Fred Mollin and Mark Banning of GNP/Crescendo Records for giving me their permission to make these available for download. |
These WAV files have been compressed using Microsoft's Windows 95 ADPCM audio compression technology. In order to play these, you either need Windows 95, Windows 3.1 with Microsoft's ADPCM Codec installed (can be found in the latest release of Video for Windows) or a small DOS program called plany. These mono sound files were recorded at 22 kHz, so they sound much better that most WAV files available on the net, yet they occupy approximately the same disk space. Note that playing these sound samples under DOS with plany will add hissing to the sound. Windows does not exhibit this problem. You will also need pkunzip to extract the actual WAV files from the archives. |
