I'd like it to be a Highlander crossover with a "Fitz hits on Janette" flashback that answers the burning fanfic question (which I've seen in crossover fic for two other vampire genres, but not, I believe, FK) "Can an Immortal be brought across, and what weird things happen with them if they are?" |
K-A
I'd love a Highlander crossover. A little extra Adrian Paul never hurt anybody. All the characters would have to come over also including Joe, Richie and Methos. |
Danielle Goldstein
I think a Kung-Fu: The Legend Continues XOVER would have been good. That or a "Beyond Reality" crossover. I'd love to see JJ figure this one out. The look on his face would be priceless. Also, w/ the "Kung Fu" thing, Peter should be momentarily transfered (Caine comes too) and Nick being teamed with him. The flashback would be of when Nick came to the temple looking for help and self-control. I'm working on an Men In Black XOVER right now where Nat disappears (guess where she is) and Nick, after killing a "bug" becomes an MIB (or to be literal a VIB) |

There are so many good crossovers that have already appeared in fanfic (Highlander, Friday
the 13th: The Series and many others) that it's amazing. However I'd be interested in seeing
a crossover with Poltergeist: The Legacy. The members of the Legacy travel to Toronto to
investigate a series of strange occurrences that have plagued the new office buiklding that
stands on the site where the Kessel House once stood (in the FK ep, "Dead of Night"). When a
member of the Legacy House in Toronto is found murdered, Dr. Rayne and this Legacy House team
are called in to find out what happened. While they're there, they confront Nick Knight, and
Alex Moreau finds herself mysteriously drawn to Nick and she will find out what Nick really
is. When Rachel Corrigan meets up with Natalie, Nat will find out that she's met a kindred
spirit, while Derek Rayne has a confrontation with LaCroix. I could go on... but, I'm
seriously thinking of turning this idea into a fanfic crossover! Wow! Who would have thought
that Forever Knight lends itself so easily to crossover material! How's that for a good crossover? <BG!> Thanks for the good questions, Frederic! |

Well I guess the obvious one would be Highlander - a group of immortals get together and have a party! Another choice would be Beauty and the Beast. The main character Vincent, like Nick is torn between his humanity and his rage. He is also in love with a mortal woman and can't go out at night. |
Barbara
What about a cross-over with BUFFY, THE VAMPIRE SLAYER where Buffy learns that not all vampires are of the slaying variety and she learns that she is not the only mortal in the world in love with a vampire. I see a great deal of empathy between Buffy and Natalie. Or maybe it's all just a dream where Natalie is allowed to impart some of her vast experience with vampires on the purely fictional slayer and changes some of Buffy's preconcieved notions in the process. |
Karen G.
Highlander! I believe Nick and Duncan were both on the Titanic the night it sunk. Wouldn't it be interesting for them to meet again. |
Nyx Fixx
Very difficult to decide. Just about anything on television could benefit from an infusion of
FK. And, then there are the print fiction mediums. Here are my top five picks in each
category:
TELEVISION:
|
Mac Blue
Well, the obvious answer is "Buffy"... no, I'll go for something a little more interesting. "Millenium." Imagine the Millenium Group trying to make sense of events in and around the Raven. How would Frank Black react to working with this very strange Homicide cop named Nick? Personally, I like to think he'd have met and been somehow sympathetic with Urs. More to the point, I imagine some kind of crime involving a vampire of vast insanity, one who threatens the entire community. Frank Black is brought in and helps save innocent lives while the Killer is (accidently?) destroyed by LaCroix or maybe Vachon. What would I give for a discussion between Tracy, Nick and Frank Black about the nature of darkness and evil. And Frank Black's reaction to the Nightcrawler...! |
Sharon Bauman
This probably isn't very original, but I'd like to see a cross-over show with the cast of
Highlander-The Series. It would be interesting to watch Nick Knight and Duncan McLeod compare
notes about their respective immortality. It would also be interesting if they compared their
history - literally, since both have lived through wars, revolutions, plague, etc. Nick and Duncan are more alike then one might suppose. Both have had to kill to survive. They could compare notes on whether the means justify the end. Maybe Nick could get a better handle on his own feelings about killing and wanting to become mortal. |
Juli Monroe
I'd like to see a Forever Knight/Kung Fu the Legend Continues cross-over show. I'm starting to work on a story along these lines myself. It seems to make sense to me: both made in Canada, both have the same coroner's office, and tons of actors have been in both shows. Besides, I'd love to see Caine and Lacroix together: not exactly a match made in Heaven, but fun to write! |
Rhianna
I think that there should be a crossover between X-Files and Forever Knight. It would be funny and captivating at the same time. Also, for a good funny crossover, you should have X-Men and Forever Knight do a crossover. I'd like to see Logan (Wolverine) and Nick together! (HE HE HE)!! |
Angela Rynan
Actually, I'm probably in the unpopular minority here, because I don't very much like crossovers. Generally I find that such things impede the integrity of the original stories and characters--at least for me, they do. It could be that I have that feeling because I'm both a writer and an actor, so I'm extremely committed to the truth of the original story and its characters. Bringing in Duncan, the Legacy, Jack and Micki, and Kane might be an interesting bit of fun, but I don't think such a story or show would lend itself very credibly to any of the characters. Something would be lost in the translation, and folks would be too caught up in seeing the characters together than they would be in the story. That, for me, is simply unacceptable. So my answer to your question is, "None". |
Gwynn Holloway
I'd like to see Nick in the original Dark Shadows series. Interesting concept, one that looks like a vampire vs. one that doesn't. (No offence BARNABAS!!!!!) |
Ann
X-Files meets Forever Knight. A former colleague of Skinner's is found dead in Toronto with two holes in his neck. Mulder and Scully head north to Toronto, arguing about the existence of vampires along the way. They team up with Nick Knight. I think Dana Scully and Natalie would hit it off immediately. They are both forensic doctors who work with rather strange, moody, quirky men. But Natalie keeps Dana off of the trail of Nick's secret. Fox, however, discovers Nick's secret and is naturally excited about this. The two men bond. Then Lacroix complicates matters by wanting to bring Mulder across because "Nicholas could use a younger brother to play with". Opportunity for a great battle between Lacroix and Nick to save Fox. In the end, Nick and Fox prove the "vampire" murder is a cover up for a bigger, more insidious conspiracy involvling Cancer Man (of course). Mulder and Scully return to Washington. But, Fox now has a new ally and friend in Nick Knight. Oh, the possibilities! |
Richard Manly
Why not borrow a page from NBC's recently renewed "The Pretender?" Why not have LaCroix track our hero and his love from identity to identity, a global cat-and-mouse game of the Master trying to bring back his best pupil and his bride trying to keep him on the straight and narrow? |
John Lindsey
I would have had liked to have see a Highlander crossover. I can just imagine LaCroix telling Nick about them after he had somekind on encounter with one, and given that the last immortal gets unimaginable power LaCroix would most likely be showing great fear. It would be interesting to see if one could sence the other, or if Duncan and Nick had met before, both were in the Union Army, in the French Resistance on board the Titanic and who knows what else. Also what would happen if a vampire tried to feed or bring an immortal over, and would it make a differance if he or she was not immortal yet. Would the effects of becomming a new vamprie wear off in time, or would he reject the transfer all together. In the jack the ripper episode, the barber almost killed LaCroix as he was feeding, they could say he was an immortal that had not changed yet. |
Resa Matthews
I'm not sure what you mean by cross over show but it would be cool if Nick met some other vampires he didn't know about. You know sort of "Who are you?" "I'm a vampire." "No kidding me too!" I've only been watching about 3 weeks so maybe this has already been done. I can't think of any show I would like to cross over, but then I don't watch a lot of TV so I'm not sure what shows are out there that might mix. Ciao. |
Boomer
A Crossover episode? Highlander! A flashback to the Scottish Highlands where Nick and Duncan met centuries ago. Nick knows that Duncan MacLeod is an Immortal, but Duncan has no idea who or what Nick Knight is-- until they meet again in present day Toronto. |
Rob Harris
FK/Highlander = Drink of an immortal and be healed? FK/Millennium = Working in Toronto, Who is this guy? FK/South Park = "Holy Crap! You made Kenny into one of the undead!" |
Kimberly
I'd love to see an X-Files crossover. Or even better, a Quantum Leap crossover. Sam as a vampire would be hysterical. Would he be better as Nick or LaCroix? Ha |
Lady Macbeth
The Highlander meets Nick the vampire cop and team up to rescue Nat in some dangerous plot, plus go after Lacroix then Nat and the guys live happily ever after. |
Sunfire
Probably Quantum Leap and FK. Maybe Sam Becket leaps into one of the vampires or something. Or maybe Nick's partner. |
Jenifer
Highlander would be cool. Maybe if they like, knew each other from the past and got together again. That would be the COOLEST! |
Sami Swan Thompson
Let's go back to vintage TV time. How about a crossover between "Forever Knight" and "The
Nightstalker" series? No? Okay, then, how about these:
Forever Knight + I Love Lucy = Forever Looney Even current shows offer possibilities: Forever Knight + Beverly Hills = Forever Knight 90210 It's almost frightening, isn't it? |
Tessa Orrison
A HIGHLANDER and FK crossover would be sooooo cool. Nick could finally meet Duncan MacLeod, the eternal boyscout. Plus the prospect of having Duncan, Richie, Methos, Joe, LaCroix, Nick, And Vachon, who happen to be the sexy seven, together is too much to pass up! |
Sharon Bauman
I'm another one who'd like to see a cross-over with Duncan McLeod from Highlander. He and
Nick have several things in common: they have to kill [or in Nick's case "had"] to survive;
they lived through at least one common event, but more importantly, historic events; and
there's a certain amount of angst they experience as immortals - living longer than almost
everyone they know, for example. It would be interesting to hear them compare notes, so to
speak. Perhaps Nick would gain a new perspective on his existence. Another cross-over, but one which would not be possible in the present, would be Star Trek: The Next Generation. There are two possible ways this could work, though. One, STTNG cast could time travel, as they have once or twice. I'd like to see some interaction between Nick and Data. Data wants to be human, and so does Nick. Another way the cross-over could happen, and with the second character I'd like to see Nick interact with, is Guinan. Since she was around in the 1800s - in real time - she would be "around" during Nick's time. She's seen and experienced more than Nick has; maybe she could impart a little wisdom to him. He needs to get past what he is and deal with it. It doesn't look like he's going to change his vampire condition any time soon, so he should make the best of it. Maybe Guinan could help him with that. |
Coral Tyson
X-Files. I know they had a vampire episode but let's do the real thing here. Mulder and LaCroix meet? Or Sliders. Again, they've already done a vampire episode but it's not NICK. |
Becka
Highlander, definantly! I would just love to see Nick and Duncan meet up. I wonder if there's any future for Duncan and Janette? hmmmm. |
Mary L
Well, I think that a cross-over with the X-files would be interesting. Mulder already searches for EBE's everywhere. What would happen if he started to see vampires in the woodworks as well? |
K-A
Since Richie is dead on Highlander, (Sob, Sob) He could become a Vampire and move to Town, and Duncan could find him here. |
Melinda Cadarette
I think Highlander will be more approriate than many other shows. Duncan and Nick can have a long chat together about their past. I imagine they will have very interesting things to say. |
Maire
Definately Fk cross w/ X-Files. Get LaCroix and Scully together- hey maybe he can help w/ that nasty mortal tumor problem there, and Answers? I'm sure he could rip some answers from Cancer Man if anyone can! Tho I bet the two of them would get along too damned well. |
Pamela
I would be interested in seeing a Forever Knight/Batman (with George Clooney, of course). Why? Because these are two of my favourite things. Now, the storyline. Have Nick and Bruce meet, swap secrets, and have a great time fighting crime. |
Alysa
HIGHLANDER! For sure! Wouldn't it be awesome if they like somehow all got together and found a cure or even had some way for the Forever Knight group got to go to the Highlander's origional plant and became human! |
Raissa Devereux
I think the perfect xover would be Beauty & the Beast. Nick could gain some perspective from Vincent. After all, no matter how much Vincent is loved, no one can change the fact there's only one of Vincent, and he's it. Nick at least has more of his own kind to be with. Second, Nick needs to learn from Vincent that just being able to pass for human counts for a lot in an imperfect universe. |
Mids
I think it'd be great to see a cross over between Highlander: The Series and also the X-Files all at once. Scully and Mulder would have their hands full dodging Enforcers while trying to keep a trail on the Immortals and Vampires. Duncan could team up with Nick and try to sway Scully and Mulder while also dodging Enforcers. |
Tina
It could be interesting to see a cross-over show between Forever Knight and The X-Files or Millennium. Just imagine seeing Agents Scully or Mulder being sent to investigate strange reports of vampires living in Toronto (Even though it's in a different country, but hey, this is TV Land!) Or Frank Black working on a case to find the evil in Toronto. Imagine what flash images he would get on encountering Nick or LaCroix. |
Marina Bailey
FK should have been crossed over with "Highlander". It's a natural: they're both immortal. I'd like to have seen a story where Nick meets Duncan again after a few hundred years and they are both puzzled as to how the other could have survived. |
Marina Bailey
I thought of an even better one! What if we crossed FK over with... Due South?! Actually, it could be a flashback episode, explaining why Nick left Chicago. See, in Chicago he was partnered with someone who annoyed him even more than Schanke (but who did have a cool car) - namely, Ray Vecchio. And he had to leave Chicago when Ray started getting suspicious. Heh heh. Unfortunately there's no place for a Mountie in flashback, but Fraser and Ray could go to Toronto in the present (walk a few blocks, in other words, heh heh) and meet up with Nick. Ray could tell Fraser his suspicions about Nick and Fraser would, of course, respond with, "That's just silly, Ray." <g> |
Raissa Devereux
I would like to see a Forever Knight/Beauty & the Beast xover. It would take place after Catherine's death. Janette would bring over Devin. Nick would bring over Nat. Both couples would move to the tunnels for a while, and Vincent would give Nick perspective. A) As imperfect as Nick's life may be, at least he has other vamps. to hang out with. No matter how much Vincent is loved, there's only one of him, and he's it. B) Vincent has learned from vast experience that there's a vast difference between choosing not to be a predator and allowing oneself to become prey. C) As imperfect as Nick's life is, at least he can pass for human, and that counts for a lot. D) Vincent understands that there are some risks worth taking, ie he and Catherine/Nick and Nat. |
Misty
I've been thinking for a while now that I would love to see a Highlander/Forever Knight crossover. Nick could find Duncan as a victim of a homicide and be the only one around when Duncan wakes up. They could compare notes on their types of immortality, and Nick has to decide between his cop instincts and his understanding of immortals going by different rules when an evil immortal shows up and Duncan asks Nick to keep out of it, even when it will most likely result in the death of the evil immortal. I think this would be a really great story. I'd love it if someone could take the time to develop this plot. |
Anne Quinty
My first choice would be Highlander. But another one that could be interesting would be Due South, would like to see how Fraser would deal with people like Nick and Lacroix... |
Karen
I'm with Angela. I don't much care for crossovers either. Each show has it's own basic premise and "crossing over" undermines the foundation for both. |
Cathy Sando
Personally, were there to be a crossover show I would LOVE to see Nick and LaCroix end up on "Poltergeist: The Legacy". I am not exactly sure how, but I know I, for one, would be GLUED. |
Toni Mandry
Oh, how do I choose? XFiles, Highlander, La Femme Nikita (*that* would be interesting) how about Due South? That would be even stranger... how about any show that I like? The Pretender, Buffy (that *would* work), any of the Star Treks... ohmigod but I think best with Mulder and Scully investingating the strange lack of vampiric activity in Toronto after such a long downpour previously... |
Ann
How about FK meets Touched By An Angel? Good vs. Evil with a strong dose of campy fun. Touched By An Angel recently had a storyline about a runaway teenager living on the streets. This could be expanded to the teenager being witness or suspect in a murder. So Nick and Monica work together to "save" this kid. Can you just imagine the delicious fit Lacroix would have about the situation? It's bad enough Nick wants to be mortal. Now Nick is conspiring with the Other Side! Naturally a faceoff between Lacroix and Della Reese's character would have to happen. Throw Janette and Vachon in there for added spice. Of course, the kid is "saved". And the episode would end with Monica saying, "God loves you, Nicholas de Brabant. He knows how difficult the struggle for goodness has been. But there is still much more work to do." Now, that's an episode worth seeing! |
Christa
Highlander and Forever Knight...... Nick, Janette and Lacroix help Duncan, Amanda and Methos save their mortal friends from some stupid senerio yet again...... but joined forces would be more interesting. |
Amy Shope
I think a X-Files/FK cross-over would be fun. Have Nick, or Janette, or Lacriox (!) show Scully something she can't blame on a mental state. OR better yet, Quantum Leap. I can just hear Ziggy's reaction to the existence of Vampires in Toronto. |
Vic
Definitely Highlander!!!! I would love to see how Nick would deal with Methos' cynicism. Duncan and Nick would make a great a great pair. I can also see Methos and LaCroix hitting it off. Joe and Natalie would also have somehting in commom, they are both involved in immortals but do not actively participate in their lifestyles. |
RPE
The X-Files. They had one episode on vampires, but it'd be cool if Mulder and Scully discovered the vamipres in Toronto. Sure, it's Canada, but maybe some American diplomat or citizen or something could get knocked off by a vampire that's sloppy and leaves fang marks. Mulder and Scully are sent to aid the investigation, and get teamed up with Nick and Schanke. (I know he died, but he's cool.) Schanke would probably learn about Mulder's rep and tease him throughout the episode, and Nick and Nat will constantly have to divert Mulder's attention to Nick's eccentricities and keep the truth from him. There could be a part where Scully drops her necklace cross and it accidentally touches Nick and burns him. There'll be aliens and vampires running around too, with the Cancer Man thrown in for the fun of it. |
Sheila Coneybeer
(Been a while since I posted here.) I am sure this has been said, but here goes..... I would like to see a xover between FK and Highlander. What a surprise, right? I would like to see the 3rd season characters from FK and Jeanette. From Highlander, Duncan, of course, as well as Methos and Joe Dawson and Amanda and I would love to see Conor included. From one immortal to another..... if you know what I mean..... |
Lauretta
PLEASE!!! No crossover-shows! Forever Knight is an exclusively unique show all on it's own. To try to combine it with another is unheard of. |
Suzie
I take comfort in finding people who think like me! ;-) My wish list is long, including The X-Files, Highlander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. With Highlander, I see potential trouble when the vamps realize there's a food source out there that can never die. Lacroix decides to keep Amanda chained in the basement of the Raven as a blood source and Duncam, Methos, and Joe come to the rescue... aided by Nick, of course. The spirit of Buffy doesn't really meld well with FK, but it would be interesting to see all of Giles' vampire knowledge turned on its ear. The X-Files is a given - Mulder and Scully come to Toronto to investigate a series of strange murders and run across the vampire subculture. Lacroix is greatly amused by Mulder's alien theories and decides to keep an eye on him as a potential "son". |
Lori Dehn
That would have to be something about Janette and her new life, whether she is happy again as a vampire, or if she is having the same mortality issues Nick did. Lacroix could still be a part of this, but it would not necessarily have to be in Canada. And, because of the flashbacks, Nick could be in it in spite of the fact that he's dead. |
Zenobia
Well, if it has to be a crossover with another *series* I guess I'm part of the Highlander contigent... however, I also think it would be interesting to work in some of the ideas in Laurell K. Hamilton's "Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter" novels - legal citizenship, & etc. |
Alexia Randall
I think the best crossover would be with another vampire show. A Buffy the Vampire
Slayer/Forever Knight crossover would bring out alot of questions and answers. Buffy slays
all vampires but the one she loves, and she thinks the rest of them are all bad. Nick would
certainly prove that wrong, so there would be a struggle about whom Buffy should trust and
Nick would be able to prove to her that he is good. Besides the Hellmouth kinda opens up the
reason for Nick to be there, even if he is from Canada and the show takes place in
California. LaCroix could have brought him there more or less. Spike and Druscilla would be
no match for LaCroix, but it would be fun to see them match wits. On the lighter note, Natalie, Xander, Willow, and Cordelia could have kind of a self~help discussion group on how their lives have changed with the introduction of vampires and the undead. Janette could also take up permanent residence at the Bronze, since it has "The Raven"-like qualities. Both are great shows they would help each other out in the "vampire genre", in my opinion. It would be dramatic, romantic, and have the comedy undertones that all shows need. |
Jennifer Robinson
I was just writing up a storm when Netscape disconnected me. Think of Forever Knight and Sailor Moon! A dream sequence that leaves both in the other's body... in "real time" AND anime! I liked the storyline so much I've started the story and plan to send it in to FKFANFIC. Think it's a good idea? |
Nicholas Galvante
A Stonetree or Alysse Hunter spinoff, Alysse Hunter was a character on the pilot. Then turned into a vampire, by who? Now she is on a quest to find mortality and Nick??? |
Navidia
I believe that I would also have to go with a Highlander cross over. Adrian is sooooooooooo dreamy. |
Leigh Raglan
A FK cross-over with the Highlander certainly would be interesting. Also, with Time Trax or Early Edition. Or how about with Due South, Ben Fraser and Nick Knight would be quite a pair!! |
Patricia Puckett
Being a big Dark Shadows fan, I would have liked to seen Nick and Sckanke going to collinwood and meeting Barnabas Collins and Angelique. Maybe even throwing in Angel and the gang from Buffy the vampire slayer. That would be very interesting. |
Shell Bowman
Well, I'm going to go with the majority with HIGHLANDER. But I'm not into the whole cross-over thing. It is very hard to make the connection between the two shows, and sometimes very unbelievable (and we're talking about vampires here). But, if there was one, HIGHLANDER would be it. Immortality meets Immortality. |
Chris
Definitely X-Files. They are my favorite shows, and the possibilities would be endless. Mulder and Scully meet Nick and Schanke. Talk about too much weirdness!!! |
Linda
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I know most of the voters will probably pick the obvious X-Files, but let's see a little more humor inserted into Nick's angst-ridden existence, if for nothing else than to see LaCroix and Giles spar on a verbal level, or have Buffy and Natalie commiserate on vampire/mortal relationships. |
Aarlene
LaCroix takes his radio show to "Frasier". Seattle is big enough and rainy enough for the right setting. I don't think even he could consider bringing Lilith over. That would be a crossoverX3. I wonder how Eddie would react. |
Bradley Paranial
Why do even have this question. The only real choice is Highlander. As for a plot I would likely see one where Duncan and Nick meet and realize that seem vaguely familiar. |
