Question:
What kind of new character(s) would
you like to see in the future?

-------

Maliana

I think a character I would like to see would be another child vampire. Not exactly like Divia, but still like her in some ways.

I think Nick should be her creator. And he does it by accident, and feels really guilty so he adopts her and takes care of her. Though she does cause some trouble for him. And she takes a strange liking to Lacroix.

Julian Luna

Perhaps a new love in Nick's life, someone that can cause a fight between Natalie and her. Also someone that will bring out a different LaCroix. And perhaps a new partner for Nick.

Jody A

Although I am a die-hard N&Npacker, I would like to see a new vampire who can help Nick see a different perspective on vampirism. For example one who could teach Nick more control, use the vampire strengths for *his * purpose not as a predator seeking food. Somewhere in the storyline I would like to have a character that can help Nat more along the psychological as well as biological aspects of vampires. Someone in biogenetics/ biochemistry. Pathology can be very limiting in genetic research etc., too general for some of the cures Nat has pulled out of a hat.

And of course any romantic tension that could be generated between Nat and Nick using such characters would be great too.

I would also like to see Janette return but not as the self-centered persona she portrayed in the first two seasons. She should also have her own characters who would support her growth as a character.

Scotty D. Hudson

I would like to see more characters that Nicholas has known in the past. Particulary, characters that would create tension or emotional stress between Nick and Natalie or Nick and LaCroix.

Reva

I think I would like to see a vampire that Lacroix brought across who causes trouble for Nick. Also, I would like to see this vampire develop an attraction for Natalie which Nick would resent.

I would like to see Nick get a new female partner who develops an unrequited love for him. She would be the opposite of Tracy in that she would not constantly try to prove her abilities.

Elysa Meyer

I would love to see a new love interest for my favorite character, LaCroix... It would be even more interesting if she herself was mortal.

June

I think I'd like to see a deadly, evil foe for LaCroix that's almost equal in longevity & status. Another love-interest for Natalie & rival for Nick would be fun to watch play out as well. Maybe even another vampire? Na-a-a-a-a-h.... that'd be too hokey! Or would it?

Ken Kapoor

A character that can ACT! Naaa, just joking.

How about a different Super-Natural creature... like a werewolf or something, who has the same problem Nick does?

What I would really like to see would be a recurring character... such as a Vampire-Hunter. And not a wimpy old Windbag like "Liam" was... someone who reeeeeelly hates vampires. The Vamp-Hunter can be mortal, but... hey! How about a Vampire-Hunter who is an Immortal-Lesbian-Stripper-Werewolf!!! Now THERE'S something I'd pay to watch!!!!!!

Ooh... been spending too much time with Geraldo.

Lou Downey

I'd like to see Nick get "involved" (emotionally... and physically) with another female vampire.

K-A

I would love for Natalie to have a guy interested in her to make Nick totally jealous. That would be the ULTIMATE character.

SEBrooks

A new mortal romantic interest for Nick! Nick needs someone else other than Nat. I think Nat needs to get on with her life and find someone before she gets too old to have a family. An immortal love interest for Nick would get LaCroix off his butt. That might get Janette back.

Andrea Brannon

I think a person, vampire or not that would help Nick see that he would not know what to do if he was a mortal. He uses his power so easily that he would be lost without them. And since the way the series ended, a new setting with a little more hostility between Nick an Lacroix.

Michelle David

A romantic interest for LaCroix. What would really be interesting is if she's mortal & brought across, and Nick starts angsting about Fleur parallels (love BMV, sigh). Or really, any 'innocent' brought across for Nick to angst about.

Serin

I'd like to see a (mortal) character who was trying to prove the existance of Vampires, Werewolves, etc. in the world. He'd be regarded as a nutcase by most people, but would cause some interesting problems for the vampire community, Nick in particular. Nick would, of course, be a point of interest for this new character due to his being "allergic to sunlight." If Nick's partner knew of Vampires, Nick'd have to find some way to convince them he wasn't. It'd also leave a lot of teasing room for Lacroix.

LB Burstiner

I would like to see Nick get a new partner--a woman, but someone who is smart, strong, and has a sense of humor. I would like to see her try to figure out Nick's secret, instead of being completely ignorant of it as Tracy was. And I also think she could provide sexual tension for Nick, adding to the tension between Nick and Nat. It would also be fun for Lacroix to become interested in Nick's new partner, especially as she begins to investigate Nick's past.

Marie

I would like to see a teenage girl added on the show. She would be mortal, but would know of the vampire community. She could become friends with Janette after Janette finds her and brings her in.

She would be a dark minded girl with a bad childhood, which would make her so dark. She would be mature for her age and know what she is talking about, which is why she would get along with Uncle as well.

She would run into Nick from time to time in the Raven and tell him his quest is something important, but he should giveup trying. I would like her to know Vachon as well, since I enjoy Vachon's character.

Last thing about her is that I would play her part!

Happy Holidays, All! :)

Katherine

I would like to see a female counterpart to LaCroix. Someone who can appreciate his wisdom, but is not intimidated by him. I thought it would interesting for LaCroix to match wits with a mortal psychologist. She should not be naive, but still be gentle and caring. She should not want to be a vampire, but accept LaCroix as he is. Basically, someone who has retained a bit of childish innocence as an adult. I want LaCroix to have a companion other than Nicholas.

Sharon Bauman

I'd like to see several new characters, as well as some "resurrected" ones. First, I'd like a new partner for Nick. Female would be good, but she'd have to be intelligent, a good cop [not at all like Tracy] - someone who could really be a partner for Nick. She would be intelligent enough to figure out just what Nick and LaCroix are, and enlightened enough to accept it. If she were a strong enough character, she might be a love interest for LaCroix, which would torment him, since he's always ridiculing mortals.

Next, I'd introduce a male love interest for Natalie. She really needs a life and this would help. It might also spark something in Nick - like does he have feelings for Nat or not?

Third, I'd introduce a female vampire for Nick to get interested in. She'd have to have some of the qualities of Janette, but softer. She'd also have to be strong, intelligent, independent, and as old or older than Nick. He needs to be taught a gentler side to vampirism, which LaCroix never did. Nick has to learn to appreciate the capabilities he has, and realize that perhaps he is a creature of nature and not hell.

And finally, I'd resurrect Vachon and Urs. They definitely had potential, but it was short-lived, since they were introduced in the third and last season and had to be killed off suddenly [and so unrealistically]. Urs would emerge stronger and more independent, not the wallflower victim she portrayed. Vachon would have a larger role in the series, and perhaps create a little tension between himself and Nick, especially if he took an interest in Nick's new partner [even if Nick did not].

Happy holidays to everyone and happy new year. And thanks to "Mr. Happy" for maintaining this wonderful site!

Edna Mae Walker

I would just love to see a character from the vampyre community who is an Enforcer. What kinds of cases would he have? Maybe have Nick Knight and this male or female Enforcer work together on cases that would overlap with mortals and vampyres. I'd like to know how a vampyre goes about being recruited as an Enforcer, what's the training like. When Lacroix was taken away by Enforcers, where did they take him to? What are the laws governing self defense. There's just a whole new side of the vampyre community to see and learn. Was Nick ever an Enforcer........ Skreed thought he was.

CousinCp

I would like to see an old nemesis of LaCroix return to cause him trouble. Maybe an Enforcer. I think it is also time for the old man to have a love interest. She should not be mortal, or if so, not for long. He might angst a bit over whether or not to bring her across, but in the end his desires will allow him to indulge himself and her as he brings her "into the fold". Might be interesting to see LaCroix angst-ing a bit for a change. Grins and happy new year!

Anne Quinty

I would definitely like to see a love interest for Lacroix!
