Uncle needs a kitten. Yes Virginia there IS a Santa Claus! |
Bryan K.
I would give Vachon (he survived in my mind) Tracy (alive, back fromt he dead). |
Sharon Bauman
I would give Nicholas a video tape for Christmas. The video would show a
sunrise on a Caribbean island with the surf breaking on white sand [or else
somewhere in Hawaii]. There would be a sunset viewed from a mountaintop
overlooking the Grand Canyon, where the setting sun turns the rocks different
colors as it sets. I'd videotape cherry blossoms and other flowers blooming in
the spring. Things of beauty he hasn't seen in 800 years. Since I'm the generous type, I'd give LaCroix some Prozac so he'd mellow out. I'd give Natalie some advice -- get a life! And I'd give Vachon my neck, so he could bring me across. |
Anne Quinty
I would buy for Nicholas some canvas, and colors for his painting and a few classical music CD's. |
KnightByrd
I would give Nick a copy of Anne Rice's book _Tale of the Body Thief_ in the hopes that maybe he would see that mortality is not all he thinks it is and it does no good to torment yourself over a past you cannot change; the important thing is to live as best you can in the present and future. |
Maliana
If I could give a gift to any of the characters it would be Lacroix, and I
would give him a funny Christmas card, because he needs to get a sense of
humor. I would hope to get at least a little smile out of him. |
L. Negami
The character I would give a christmas present to would be Nick, the gift,
MYSELF!! wearing a red gift bow around my neck (where else?:))! P.S. Don't tell my husband ;) |
Kim
Tracy: A clue Nick: Mortality, I'm sick of the whining. Janette: A new Man LaCroix: A new son Vachon: myself |
couSINjen
Myself, wrapped up in a nice and pretty red bow, and to LaCroix! ;) |
Ellen Tracy
I would give Nick the ability to accept himself for who/what he is - you know, a break from all his angsting. Happy Holidays! |
Jessica Roop
Mortality to Nick. But I'm not sure if it could fit in a box. :) |
Jody A
For Nick I would get him two books:
|
LB Burstiner
A gift to one of the characters? That's easy--ME to Nick. Okay, so maybe that's
more than a little outside the bounds of reality, so I would magically grant
him one day in the sun, where he can walk barefoot on the beach and feel the
hot rays on his face, and have a splendid picnic lunch spread out on a blanket
while children built castles in the sand around him. And for Lacroix--I'd give him a hobby, like pottery or something. Something other than Nick :). |
Sanguisuga
I would give LaCroix a big comfy coffin, all lined in royal purple satin. Maybe the reason he's so cranky all the time is because his sleeping arrangements are cramped. What could I get Nicky? Perhaps all he needs is a little solitude.... |
Marie
Are we allowed to send ourselves...? I would send Tracy a klew. I would send Nick a brick, hoping he'll get a klew, too. I would send Natalie on a vacation. (We all know she needs one!) I would send Uncle seasons ticket to the opera (Thanks for the idea Jules!) and have him find love there, or dinner ;) I would send Janette a one way trip plane ticket back to Toronto. And I would send Vachon a special mixture of my blood to bring him back to us in his undead way. BUT, I wouldn't send it to them, I'd take a plane there and give them their presents in person. (How else could I give Vachon my blood to bring him back? ;) Sorry, still in FK withdrawl...need SciFi station. |
Cousin Zillah
I thought a long time about this one. One gift to one character... it would
have to be a pretty good one. If I could give a gift, it would be to LaCroix. The gift would be Fleur, back in the 13th century. Somehow I would get Nicholas to mind his manners. (and if I can give a gift to a vampire, certainly a little time travel is nothing.) My reason is this: If LaCroix could have Fleur, his broken heart would be mended. Without a broken heart and Nicholas' interferance, "Be My Valentine" has a suddenly different ending. This would make the Nick&NatPackers happy. Call it the gift that keeps on giving. I'm just a romantic softy at heart. |
K-A
I'd give Nick his mortality, so that he and Natalie could live a nice, HAPPY, normal life together. |
Rachel
Hmm.... I think I need to send something original... eh? I would send LaCroix a singing Santa gram. I mean hey, that would be too darn funny to ignore. Or maybe a group of carolers. I think I'd probably send Nick one of those Tony Robbins self help tapes. "You are good, you like yourself, you will be the best." Ha. That'd be good too! Sorry I just couldn't help it. The thought of those two gifts getting to their respective owners is just too great. |
Michelle David
Nick: Lifetime membership (yah, that long!) to Angsters Anon (which is also, I
believe, a Nick/Urs faction) LaCroix: Nick (there goes my UF tendencies again) Tracy: Ritalin, Valium. Reese: New water cooler, Laura Schlessingers "Top Ten Things Serial Killers Do To Mess Up Their Lives". Vachon: Reeeeeaaaalllly strong shampoo & conditioner. Screed: Rogaine, copy of "My Fair Lady". Natalie: A life. Urs: First prize in a Drew Barrymore look-alike contest. |
Ken Kapoor
Nick: a NEW WOMAN!!!! LaCroix: a NEW WOMAN!!!! Reese: a NEW WOMAN!!!! Stonetree: a NEW WOMAN!!!! Vachon: a NEW WOMAN!!!! Screed: a NEW WOMAN!!!! Schanke: a NEW WOMAN!!!! Tracy: a NEW BRAIN!!!! |
Susan Bennett
LaCroix: A Heart Nick: Courage Tracy: A Brain Reese: A New Water Cooler Vachon: A Haircut Nat: Nick |
Sheila A. Coneybeer
The character would be Javier Vachon. What to give him - who knows. He has no possessions except the motorcycle and the guitar. The clothes come from goodwill and the salvation army. Does he keep mementos? Maybe not in the past because of the Inca, but now.... Does he even want to be reminded of things? I might give him a key to my door. Yes, I know, he can come in anytime he wants, but I would want him to *know*, without a doubt, that he is always welcome. Mi casa.... You know the rest. |
Izzy (Izabela)
The character I would most like to give a Christmas present to would be Nick, of course. As for what I would like to give him... well, there are at least three things I can think of. First, I would give him freedom from his angst, second, the ability to sip, and third - ME!!! I think that about says it all, don't ya think? |
Sara Jochums
To Nick: a sense of humor To Lacroix: a nice big fat crucifix (I might be willing to recycle and give it to Vachon after Lacroix is done with it) |
Julian Luna
I would give mortality back to Nick, since he wanted it so much. |
Richard Manly
I'd give Natalie a week in the Bahamas with company who didn't drink Type O aperitifs and see what that did for her outlook on life. |
Pamela
The Cure, I would bring to Nick; The life he desperately seeks. Sweet mortality, a beating soul, Which to love Nat complete. |
Reva
What a cool question. I would like to say that I would give Nick his long sought for cure for vampirism but I won't because I just love that angst. I think I would give him books and poetry about other creatures that are unhappy with who they are so he could see that he is not alone. If it was within my power in this Christmas gift I would give him the ability to spend a nice romantic Christmas with Natalie. |
Gwen
To LaCroix: A family that would stay with him. |
Watcher
I would give Nick and Nat each other - truly alive, well and content - which
means mortality for Nick... while him retaining some special powers. Nothing
elaborate, mind - live must has its price, as well as vampirism - but mental
powers, to be able to protect himself, and Nat... and the innocent. I would give Jeanette her man, whoever it might be. And I also wish I could give something to LaCroix - but the question is what, as what he seems to want the most - Nick "dead and loving it" or at least Nat's head on the plate - is out of the question. Perhaps, Divia cured of her excessive sadism and having made peace with her father / son? |
Regine
To Nick, Nat, and LaCroix I'd give the City of Paris as a new setting. To Vachon and Tracy I'd give the City of New Orleans as a new setting. With the new settings everyone gets a new storyline and a re-vamped series! |
