Forever Knight character: Nicolas de Brabant (french pronunciation)
Nick Knight Geraint Wyn Davies has the leading role in Forever Knight, brilliantly starring as Nick Knight (aka Nicolas de Brabant), an 800 year old vampire. Lacroix, his vampire master, brought him across in Paris in 1228, after Nick returned from a Crusade. Nick has a lot of trouble accepting what he is. Through his actions, he shows a lot of anxiety, self-doubt and guilt. He refuses to kill people to survive; instead, he drinks cow blood. Needless to say, Lacroix doesn't approve of his feeding habits. Nowadays, as a Toronto homicide detective, Nick seeks to repay society for the sins he has committed as a vampire. What Nick desires the most, though, is to be human again, to regain the mortality he has lost so long ago.

Geraint's life   (Last updated: November 1996)
Geraint was born in Swansea, Wales, to a Welsh congregational preacher and a school teacher. At the age of seven, he and his family moved to Canada. At age 12, a public performance in "Lord of the Flies" indelibly confirmed his theatrical ambitions. He graduated from Upper Canada College, went to the University of Western Ontario, dropped out before graduating (don't believe everything Sony tells you! :) and then finally decided to pursue a career in acting.

His professional stage debut was made in 1976 in Quebec City (Quebec, Canada) at the age of 19. He appeared in "The Fantasticks", "Red Emma" and "A Midsummer Night's Dream". After moving on to London's Centre Stage Theatre Company, Geraint Wyn Davies completed his first feature film role in "Deadly Harvest" with Clint Walker.

Performing for eight seasons in the Shaw and Stratford Festivals of Canada, Geraint gained a very good reputation and began to be seen as a gifted stage performer for his many roles, such as:

Some of Geraint's other commercial stage performances include "My Fat Friend" in Los Angeles and "Sleuth" with Patrick McNee in Toronto.

Geraint continued his stage career when he relocated to England, joining The British Actors Theatre Company as the lead in their production of "The Last Englishman." This was followed by two seasons with Wales' leading theatre company, Theatre Clwyd, where he toured the United Kingdom as the lead in "An Enemy of the People" and "Hamlet" (Best Actor Award Regional Theatre), and a season with the Chichester Festival in "Henry VIII."
